AMG has so far identified 10 areas of their Randsburg property with gold to be processed for this decade.
First two years will focus on the millions of tonnes of the Sunshine above ground tailing and waste rock material. It was left from the historic gold rush. It has high grades which do not require traditional mining to extract.
Mojave Gold Project
Kern County California
The Mojave Gold Project consists of nearly 5 million tons of gold bearing material situated on a large heap leach pad. This project was worked for 7 years by various mining companies and was stopped only due to a low gold price of 270 USD in 1996. Over 400,000 ounces of AU has been produced from this heap leach pad and current assays taken in 2017 report grades as high as 100 gpt.
